Recreation Program

All classes are held in our spacious 11,533 square foot, air conditioned, fully equipped gymnastics facility.  Highlights include an in-ground pit full of covered foam, an in-ground trampoline as well as specialized mats and equipment designed specifically for tots!  All our coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program, are certified in First Aid & CPR, and Respect In Sport.

Parent & Tot

Led by a certified coach and together with a parent, children aged 18 months to 3½ years explore movement and gymnastics activities while using all the apparatus in the gym.  The focus is fun and interaction - so bring your imagination!

Unfortunately siblings not registered in the class are not permitted in the gym.

Please note that all parent and tot classes are limited to 1 parent per participating child. Babies in carseats/infant carriers/strollers are not permitted on the floor.

The use of baby slings to hold a child while a parent is on the floor during a parented class is not permitted. Children in strollers or car seats on the sidelines or in the viewing areas are considered to be unattended and as such pose a great risk and is also not permitted.

Kindergym

Together with a certified coach children aged 3½ to 6 explore all apparatus in the gym while learning basic gymnastics skills.  Through various games and activities the children explore different patterns of movement and are able to learn spatial and body awareness.  Games and fun all in one!

CANGYM Badge Program

Children aged 6 and up work progressively through a series of 14 badges. This program was developed by Gymnastics Canada and is very effective in helping kids learn the fundamentals of gymnastics while gaining a sense of body and spatial awareness.

Ninja and Warriors

This physical fitness program is a fantastic way for both boys and girls to have a great time learning cool tricks. Learn how to flip, run up walls, and leap from obstacle to obstacle in a safe environment.

Super Girls Program

The focus of this program is on strong basics and attention to detail. Having fun is still important, however the classes are intended for children who learn gymnastics skills at a more accelerated rate.  Placement in this program is through coach recommendation, and athletes in these programs may be recommended or invited to the Developmental/Competitive Program.

Note: Athletes registered in the Super Girls program are required to wear a bodysuit.

Please be respectful of our staff - leaving work at the end of their shift is important to them too!

If your child suffers from seasonal allergies, please make our office aware. No refunds or credits will be issued for COVID-19 related illness or isolations.

Special Needs Participants

We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive environment and we do our best to accommodate most situations. To ensure a safe and high-quality experience for all participants and staff, those with a special need that requires one-on-one attention are required to have an aid accompany them in the gym.

Please keep in mind that our staff are trained gymnastics coaches, but do not always have the necessary certification to accommodate those with special needs. Each situation will be handled on a case-by-case basis, keeping in mind a safe and high-quality experience for all.

Horizon Gymnastics reserves the right to request a participant have a one-on-one aid for their class if our staff determines this will create the most positive experience for all. All additional costs associated with this request will be the responsibility of the participant’s caregivers.
